Saturday morning story

As soon as we returned from our wonderful visit to Chicago Peter began a new school term. Grant writing, TA responsibilities, a graduate class in immunology and research to prep for his candidacy report in March combine to spell b-u-s-y. He still does an incredible job prioritizing time with the family as much as he feasibly can, though, and I do my part by bribing him with a happy baby and home cooked meals. Before he jumped into work this last Saturday morning in January we enjoyed a family breakfast date.

Someday when we are who knows where, I figured we’d get nostalgic for our semi-regular Saturday morning walk through Pasadena. Today I brought my camera along to try and capture some of the moments. Unfortunately this first picture wasn’t focused, but I had to include it. Katelyn remains cute even when she’s crying:
